The Bolshaya Medveditsa Mall is located at the heart of Khabarovsk city, at the intersection of Bolshaya and Karl Marx streets. Its area is 26,250 square meters. At the time of its construction, it was the largest mall in the city.
The customer desired to have a lot of free space to accommodate the outlets. To meet the customer’s desires, we came up with a solution – to reduce the number of load-bearing structures dividing the retail space. We used round pipes to give the frame equal rigidity in all directions, and thus achieved the desired parameters without compromising the strength of the structure.
